Tourism and Cultural Department of Lumajang is a department which has fundamental duty to develop and manage tourism object and culture of Lumajang. It is located at Kawasan Wonerjo Terpadu (KWT) Lumajang. Lumajang is one regencies located in East Java which has many kinds of tourist attractions. It, accordingly, makes Tourism and Cultural Department has responsibilities to make tourism in Lumajang better and to promote tourism object and culture in order to invite foreign visitors and domestic visitors visit Lumajang.
Tourism and Cultural Department of Lumajang develops and manages any kinds of tourist attractions. First is tourism objects, such as Water Park, Waterfall Tumpak Sewu, Triangle Lake, Kertowono Tea Plantation, the top Area of B29, Tempoeran Tubing Adventure, Lake Kumbolo, Mount Mahameru, Watu Godek Beach, TPI Beach, Agro Tourism of Royal Family, Selokambang, Pura Mandara Giri Semeru Agung, Coban Pawon, Goa Tetes, etc, Second is arts and Cultures, such as; Jaran Kencak, Topeng Kaliwungu Dance, Glipang Dance, etc.
The explanation above is the reason for me to choose Tourism and Cultural Department of Lumajang as a place to do internship program. The purposes of doing internship programs are to apply all knowledge and skills I have learned and to get new experiences. Furthermore, it helps me to gain a lot of information about tourism objects and local culture in Lumajang. Finally, it may be preparation for the real work especially in the Tourism and Cultural Department of Lumajang. During internship program at Culture and Tourism Department of Lumajang, I was assigned in Marketing Division. The activities I did were making a letter, composing an article, video shooting, and collecting data.
Based on the explanation, it is clear that Tourism and Cultural Department of Lumajang is an appropriate place to conduct Internship Program. The students may
