Internship Program becomes something urgently that needed by Polytechnic students when they want to enter the industrial business as a professional worker. This activity aims for students who graduate from this college have the ability to face the challenges that exist in the world of industry. The writer choose Santika Premiere Gubeng Hotel as the institution to conduct the Internship Program, because Santika Premiere Gubeng Hotel is a company which committed to provide hospitality and service, so the writer could apply the knowledge that the writer got in Englsih study program such as English for Hotel and Restaurant and practice and also speakiang skills. This internship program ran from March until June 2017, it begins on March 27th to June 27th 2017.
In Telephone Operator division, the writer got many experiences during the Internship activities such as improving her speaking skills when she handled the guest. The writer faced some problems in handling the complained when they stayed in hotel and the writer knew how to solve their problem.
The objectives of the internship program are to apply skills and knowledge that have been learned especially related to English for Hotel and Restaurant and Public Speaking,to get new skills and knowledge that the writer did not get from the college, to get the experience in the real work place especially working at hotel.
