Making a Tourism Booklet of Rembangan Jember, Aris Munandar, Nim F31141418, 2018, 24 pages, English Study Program, Language, Communication, and Tourism Deparment Politeknik Negeri Jember, Titik Ismailia, S.Pd., M.Pd.

Rembangan is a natural tourism object located at the top of a hill and it is classified as an agrotourism object. It is located in the village of Kemuning-Lor Arjasa Jember. This place is a resting place with natural scenery and it is located 600 meters above sea level. Based on my need analysis when I interviewed by a staff of Rembangan said that this tourism place need a promotional media to introduce agrotourism potential in Rembangan. The existing promotional media only give general information on tourism objects in Rembangan. The most tourists visiting in Rembangan is local tourists and some of foreigners. The tourist data of Rembangan is in January to July 2016 about 32,053 for local tourist. Menwhile for foreigner tourists is 0. Therefore, a private tourism booklet of Rembangan was needed to help the promotion of Rembangan and to increase the number of both local and foreign tourists want to visit Rembangan. To collect data for making this booklet, I used three methods (observation, interview, and documentation). I observed four locations of Rayap coffee plantation, waterfall, dragon fruit plantation, and Rembangan to make sure about condition of each tourism objects. Then, I interviewed staff of Rembangan to find information about activities, history, and agrotourism. Meanwhile I did documentation by taking picture in location of tourism objects to complete content of booklet. In making this tourism booklet, I adapted four steps. There are idea, concept, visualization and production. The idea of making tourism booklet was because Rembangan brochure and Jember tourism guidebook did not tell clearly about agrotourism object. After that the concept of booklet was in three parts connsists of opening, body, and closing. In opening part there are a list of table and a history. The body told about Rembangan, Rayap coffee plantation, dragonviii fruit plantation, and waterfall. Closing consists of map, transportation schedule (bus, train, airplane), and gallery of photos. Then, the visualization explained about writing, revision, and designing layout. In writing the content of this booklet, it explained to write in bilingual version Bahasa Indonesia and English. Therefore, it need revision. The revision explained to improve my writing to be be better. Next was designing layout, I made it with a programmer. It made with white and green colour and shaped landscape. While the production printed using colourful picture with sized 21 cm x 15 cm. In conducting this final project, I got some difficulties such as handling permission leter and designing booklet. The official letter of PTPN XII Renteng is difficult to me to ask permission in this place, so it is needed a month to wait. Meanwhile, I also could not design a tourism booklet by myself so that I asked a programmer to edit my booklet. Finally I can finish this final project by hard work and pray to faced that problems. Hopefully, this product can be useful as promotional media for Rembangan.
