ABSTRACT


One of the efforts to increase upland rice growth and production in situ bagendit variety is by using water stress techniques and ratios NPK fertilizer. This research was conducted for 5 months starting from September 2017 to February 2018 in the village of antirogo, Sumbersari sub-district, Jember district with an altitude of +90 meters above sea level. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with two factors and four replications. The first factor is water stress (C): C1: Watering once a day, C2: Watering 2 days, C3: Watering 3 days. While the second factor is NPK (R) fertilizer ratio: R1: Granule Fertilizer + Inorganic Fertilizer NPK, R2: Inorganic Single Fertilizer, R3: Granule + Inorganic Fertilizer NPK (Separate). The results of the research have shown that the water stress treatment gives significant results on the parameters of the number of tillers aged 4 MST, 5 MST and seed moisture content. NPK fertilizer ratio treatment gives significant results on the parameters of the number of tillers aged 4 MST, 5 MST, 6 MST, the number of productive tillers, the weight of perforated rice grains, the weight of empty grains and seed moisture content. The interaction between water stress treatment and NPK fertilizer ratio gave significant results on the parameters of the number of tillers 4MST, 5 MST, 6 MST, the number of productive tillers, the weight of clustered rice grains, the weight of grain hollow and seed moisture content.
