ABSTRACT

Biogas is renewable energy come from various organic waste into energy that can be harnessed through the process anaerobic digestion. This study of the biogas with a composition of different water treatments on two different digester that is vertically and horizontally. The results of the research data were analyzed by simple linear regression. Sectional area of 234 cm2 digester vertical type and horizontal type 377 cm2, it is having an effect on the speed of the production volume of biogas. In the vertical digester with a composition ratio of 1: 1, 1: 2, 1: 3, 1: 4 in a row was 2440 ml, 1563 ml, 1613 ml, 1446 ml and the volume of gas produced on average 1765 ml. Production of biogas with a composition ratio of 1: 1, 1: 2, 1: 3 and 1: 4 in a row is the horizontal digester 1646 ml, 1293 ml, 1266 ml, 1146 ml and the volume of gas produced on average 1338 ml. The data were processed by the method of data analysis techniques in the simple linear regression equation obtained digester vertical type determination coefficient R2 of 0.6916 and 0.8386 R2 digester horizontal type value indicates the close relationship between the composition of the raw materials of dairy cow manure and water. The highest biogas production yield ratio of 1: 1 in the vertical type with 2440 ml of gas results in 25 days with a total volume of a mixture of dairy cow manure and water 3.5 Liter.
