SUMMARY
The Daily Activities of Promoting the Course at Winda’s English Course. Asmiatin Hakimah Audina. F31140557. 2017. 56 Pages. Language, Communication, and Tourism Department. Politeknik Negeri Jember, Titik Ismailia S.Pd. M.Pd. (Supervisor) and Dra. Hj. Winda Wahdaniyah (Field Supervisor).
Winda’s English Course 2 Jember has some divisions; those are Teaching
Division, Administration Division, and Promoting division. I did my internship
program in one of that divisions, it was Promoting Division. The activity of my internship program was started on the 6th of March, 2017 up to the 15th of May,
2017. It was about 384 hours. I started to conduct my internship program at 09.00
a.m until 05.00 p.m from Monday until Saturday. The activities that I did in this
division were promoting the course, competition, and looking for the sponsorship.
In promoting division, I got the job such as promote brochures either Winda’s Program brochure and Winda’s Fun Holiday brochure. I got some
problem when I spread brochures. When I spread brochures to SDN Kepatihan 05
and SDN Kepatihan 06, response of students were different when received them.
There were some students who enthusiastic when received the brochures, and the other students were don’t care. To solve that problem, I asked it to the staff. The
staff gave me solution that I must tried to be brave to speak up especially in
persuade people. After that, I knew how to face the students. To face the students,
I approached students with smile one by one to give the brochures and explain
clearly to them.
While in looking for the sponsorship, I got the problem to find the place of
Laziza Chicken. I confused the place that I had to visited because there were three Laziza Chiken in Jember. After that, I called one of the staffs at Winda’s. She
gave me information that I had to gave this proposal to Laziza Chicken at Jl
Karimata Kampus. Then, I directly came to Laziza Chicken and gave proposal to
the marketing staff there.
The objectives of my internship program are to apply and improve student’s ability and knowledge that have been learned in English Study Program,

to encourage students to build teamwork relationship and dicipline behaviour also
responsible in workplace, and to get new knowledge and obtain work experiences
in the real workplace especially in teaching, administration, and promoting. Based on the explanation above, I concluded that Winda’s English Course
Jember is an appropriate place to conduct the internship program. It is because I
got a lot of experiences and knowledge there. So, I can apply the skill that I have
ever got from my college. I suggest to students of English Study Program who want to conduct internship program at Winda’s English Course Jember should
prepare not only all of the skill related with English such as writing, speaking,
reading, and listening skill, but also skill in administration, and promoting. Finally, the conclusion having finished the Internship Program in Winda’s English
Course, I got new experiences and knowledge.
