F31140658, Year 2017, 44 pages Language, Communication, and Tourism Department, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Nanik Mariyati S.Pd., M.pd (supervisor) and Rudy Wahyu Winarto (supervisior of F & B service department). Internship Program is one of requirements for Students to gratuate from Politeknik Negeri Jember. This activities are to prepare the students to face challenges in real workplace. Royal Hotel N’ Lounge Jember is one of the largest hotels in Jember. I choose Royal Hotel N’ Lounge as the place to conduct my Internship Program to apply my knowledge of English for Hotel and Restaurant and practice my English skills. The internship program has been conducted for two months in Royal Hotel N’ Lounge Jember. It started from 28th March 2017 up to 28th May 2017. I got a chance to learn many things in Royal Hotel N’ Lounge Jember especially in F & B Service Department as Waitress. Waitress is one of the job descriptions in service guest in Ruby’s Resto at Royal Hotel N’ Lounge Jember. I got an opportunity to handle jobs in F & B service department. The activities during Internship Program were taking order, preparing buffe for breakfast, help the banquet staff for setting event, and arrangging the menu set. So, after finishing the job training in Royal Hotel N’ Lounge Jember, I got new experiences and knowledge about hospitality. Having conducted Internship Program, it will maintain a good relationship between Royal Hotel N’ Lounge Jember and Politeknik Negeri Jember, in order to provide internship program place. It is also beneficial for the students to enrich their knowledge about hotel terms and vocabularies, so that the students will adapt with hotel environment faster.
