M.Si and Dr. Netty Ermawati, SP Yohana Pampliana Taman Program Studi Teknik Produksi Benih Jurusan Produksi Pertanian ABSTRACT One of the methods to improve the production and quality of rice seed is to use chicken manure and seedling. The experiment was conducted in State Polytechnic of Jember from April to June 2016. Research using factorial randomized block design ( RAK ),which consists of two factor and three replication. The first factor consists of three level ie : PI : chicken manure 5 ton / ha dose 280 gram / polybag, P2 :chicken manure 7.5 tons / ha dose of 300 gram / polibag, P3 : chicken manure 10 tons / ha dose of 400 gram / polibag. The second factor there are 3 level, UI : 7 HST, U2 : 14 HST, U3 : 21 HST. Of all existing observation, treatment of chicken manure and treatment seedling showed no significant ( ns ) on all variables observation, but on the interaction of both treatments showed significantly different results ( * ) on the observation of grain pithy tassel Keywords: Application of Chicken manure, Seedling, Production and Seed Quality of Rice
