SUMMARY DEVELOPING A GUIDEBOOK OF TOURISM OBJECTS IN CANDIPURO LUMAJANG. Innas Afanin. F31141325. 40 Pages. English Study Program. Language, Communication and Tourism Department. My final project was Developing a Guidebook of Tourism Objects in Candipuro Lumajang entitled “The Marvelous Nature and Historical Culture in Candipuro” in bilingual version. This project was done based on data collecting method that I conducted in District Agency for Tourism and Culture of Lumajang related with the content of the guidebook. This project focused on four potential tourism objects in Candipuro District, those were Bamboo Forest, Tirtosari Swimming Pool, Maling Aguno Sakti Cave and Gedhong Putri Temple. The existing promotion media in District Agency for Tourism and Culture of Lumajang did not complete information of tourism objects in Candipuro District. For that reason, I decided to developing a tourism guidebook in bilingual version and provided more detail information of tourism objects in Candipuro. In developing the product, I adapted the procedure of making guidebook from Aprilia (2009). I also hired a designer and editor who was expert in designing tourism guidebook for make a design, layout and background. I made a tourism guidebook in bilingual version printed by A5 art paper, consist 44 pages. In conducting this final project, the designer used coreldraw to design the layout, background, the script and the pictures position. I applied my language skills that I got in English Study Program to translate this guidebook from Indonesian to English and also got new knowledge and experiences in developing this guidebook. I wanted to dedicate my knowledge to develop tourism objects in Candipuro District that was still un-known and I hoped this guidebook can help District Agency for Tourism and Culture of Lumajang as a media promotion to the public.
