DiddoToriano Seed Production Technique Study Program Agriculture Production Departement 
 
ABSTRACT 
 
One of the ways to increase the production and quality for some varieties of paddy (Oryza sativa L.) is by using Siplo technology. This research had beenconducted for 4 months, from November 2015 until February 2016 at the field of Cindogo village, Tapen, Bondowoso with altitude ± 500 m. This research used Factorial Randomized Block Design (RDB) with 2 factors and 3 repetitions. The first factor was Siplo technology application without Siplo application (P1) and Siplo application (P2). The second factorwas variety that isb consisted of Gorontalo variety (V1), Towuti variety (V2) and Situ Bagendit variety (V3).The result showed that the first, P factor gave significant effect to all of the parameters except to the empty grain and seed quality test. The second, V factor showed that there was no significant effect to all parameters except on per hectare production.There was an interaction between two treatments that gave significant effect on per hectare production.
