Most agencies have used computer networks to facilitate their work such as communication, exchange and data transmission. With this computer network, some work can be completed more easily and quickly. These benefits will certainly be able to increase the positive impact for agencies that apply it. One of the agencies that have used computer network among others. Computer network here can be quite large because it consists of many computers that are in different buildings. As an institution engaged in the field of communication, activities such as exchange and data transmission is needed. Computer network in an agency is only used on local network only. At this time, data in digital form is one of the main forms of data storage. By itself, the exchange of data in digital form is an important method of exchange of such data. File is one form of digital data whose shape can be directly seen and easily moved. To exchange this data, protocols are used to specify how data is exchanged, and one of the most widely used protocols is File Transfer Protocol, hereinafter referred to as FTP. In this protocol, there are two important entities, the FTP Server, which functions as an FTP service provider, and FTP Client, which functions as an inquiry for FTP services.
