ANALYSIS OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND OF RICE IN BONDOWOSO (Case Study In SUB DIVRE BULOG BONDOWOSO) In Aynatun Rosidhah Program Studi Agribisnis Program Magister Terapan ABSTRACT The research examines an analysis of supply and demand of rice in Bondowoso. Objectives of the research are a) to know and analyze the effect of productivity, narrow and wide land, rice price, and cost of production process in supplaying rice in Bondowoso; b) to know and analyze the influence of the price of egg and corn, the population density and income which is high-income and low-income toward demand for rice in Bondowoso, c) to know the effect of prices in the previous year on supply and demand in the following year. This research was conducted by using secondary data, in the form of time series data for 5 years between 2011 until 2015. The method of analysis used in this research is dummy variable, multiple linear regression and distributed dynamic regression –lagg model. The results showed that rice demand showed that the egg price variable had no significant effect on rice demand. The price of corn variables, the population density and income of high and low income significantly influence rice demand. While productivity variables, narrow and wide land, rice price and input cost have significant effect on rice supply. The distribution results -lagg variable price of eggs in the previous year did not give a direct impact in the following year. While the variable price of corn in the previous year gave a direct impact in the following year. The result of the distribution regression -lagg on the rice supply shows significant value which is the influence of rice price and the cost of inputs in the previous year gives a direct impact in the following year.
