<note>ABSTRAK

Politeknik Negeri Jember memiliki 8 jurusan yang terdiri dari 19 program studi dan Pasca Sarjana. Politeknik Negeri Jember memiliki Gedung Teknologi Informasi berkapasitas 17 ruangan. Mahasiswa masih belum mengenal lingkungan kampus seperti dimana lokasi gedung dan ruangan tempat belajar mereka. Pada kenyataanya, panduan pengenalan lingkungan kampus masih berupa foto pada website atau gambar denah lokasi. Penggunaan denah untuk mengetahui lokasi ruangan masih kurang efisien dikarenakan hanya berupa gambar pemetaan lokasi ruangan yang sederhana. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah aplikasi yang bisa mengenalkan dan memberikan informasi mengenai gedung Teknologi Informasi berupa aplikasi 3 Dimensi berbasis Virtual Reality dengan menggunakan metodologi Pengembangan Multimedia versi Luther (1994). Aplikasi 3 Dimensi berbasis Virtual Reality ini dibuat dengan menggunakan software Unity, untuk objek menggunakan software SketchUp dan bahasa pemrograman C#. Hasil akhir dari tugas akhir ini berupa aplikasi 3 Dimensi Virtual Reality Politeknik Negeri Jember berbentuk file .apk berukuran 131 MB yang dijalankan pada perangkat android dengan spesifikasi minimal : prosesor quad-core 1.6 GHz, GPU Adreno 305 dan RAM 1 GB serta memiliki sensor gyroscope.

ABSTRACT

State Polytechnic of Jember has 8 majors consisting of 19 courses and Post Graduate. State Polytechnic of Jember has Information Technology Building with 17 rooms. Students are still not familiar with the campus environment such as where the location of the building and the room where they study. In fact, the introductory guide to the campus environment is still a photograph on the website or image of the location map. The use of floor plan to know the location of the room is still less efficient because only a simple mapping of the location of the room. Therefore, we need an application that can introduce and provide information about Information Technology building in the form of 3 Dimension application based on Virtual Reality by using Luther Version Multimedia Development methodology (1994). 3 Dimension application based on Virtual Reality is created by using Unity software, for objects using SketchUp software and C # programming language. The final result of this final project is a 3 Dimension Virtual Reality Polytechnic of Jember in the form of 131 MB of .apk file which run on android device with minimum specification: quad-core 1.6 GHz processor, Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB RAM and has gyroscope sensor.
