SUMMARY
Making A Tourism Booklet of Krucil in Probolinggo, Kholifatul Riskawati, F31150766, 2018, 25 pages, English Study Program, Politeknik Negeri Jember,
Cholimatus Zuhro, S.Pd., M.Li. (Supervisor). This report of final project entitled “Making a Tourism Booklet of Krucil Probolinggo”. The aimed of this final project was to help Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga, Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Probolinggo to promote and introduce the tourism objects in Krucil Subdistrict. Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga, Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Probolinggo needed booklet as promotional media because it is an effective way to promote tourism objects and the content of the booklet is more detail. In conducting this final project, the writer did some of data collecting methods to support the information of the booklet. The writer did interview with Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga, Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Probolinggo and the custodians of each the tourism objects. The writer also did observation to know the real condition in the tourism objects such as history and the access. Next, the writer did documentation. In this activity the writer should know the available promotional media in Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga, Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Probolinggo and the writer got some photos of each the tourism object to support the booklet. Last, the writer did audiovisual material. The writer visited the tourism objects directly to get some pictures. In making this booklet, the writer decided to adopt from Ardhi (2013) and used six steps. They are, (1) determining purpose of promotion (2) determining media promotion (3) determining target audience, (4) budgeting (5) providing the concept. (6) and production. The booklet consisted of four tourism objects such as Dewi Rengganis Waterfall, Hyang Darungan Waterfall I, Hyang Darungan Waterfall II, and Taman Hidup Lake. The contents of booklet are history and general information about the tourism objects.x In producing the booklet the writer hired an editor to arrange and design the booklet. The size of booklet was 15x21 cm and editing and designing the booklet used CorelDraw X8. The booklet was made in Bilingual, Indonesia and English because the target audience of this booklet were local and foreign tourists. In finishing the booklet, the writer got some difficulties especially when visiting the tourism objects but the writer could solve it by visiting the tourism objects one by one. The writer also got knowledge about procedures of making booklet.
