ABSTRACT
One of the alternative energy that effective and currently being developed to replace fossil fuels is hydrogen. To obtain the hydrogen gas can be done through the process of electrolysis of water by breaking the compound H2O into HHO gas by using an electric direct current through of stainless steel and Aluminum as an electrode. This research will observing HHO gas production process using HHO generator wet type (wet cell) through electrolysis H2O with a kind of electrodes Stainless stell and Aluminium use a catalyst NaHCO3. Characteristics which will be known include: consumption of electric power generator, rate of production of HHO gas produced, debit of productions gas HHO produced, and generator efficiency .Result of research and testing showed HHO generator wet type the best obtained by electrodes Stainless stell, testing data obtained with HHO generator power required by 77,10 watt, ,the rate of productions of HHO gas produced as much a s 0,00016 g / s , debit of productions of HHO gas produced as much as 0,000556 l/s and efficiency of the HHO generator is 7,41% .
