Siti Aisyah Seed Production Technique Program Agriculture Production Department ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to know the closeness between the yield component to the yield of seven superior F7 generation soybean genotypes from pedigree selection, and to obtain the resultant component which has a very strong positive correlation value and can be used as a guide to get genotype that has high yield potential character. This research was conducted from June to August 2017 on Jember Polytechnic State experimental field. This research used non factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) which then analyzed observation using simple correlation analysis. The yield showed that there was a very strong positive correlation value indicated by the component of flowering age on RD genotype (0.992) and P3R genotype (0.917), strong positive correlation value of 100 grain yield was found in genotype P3P2 (0.932) and P2P3 (0.991), the genotype of P3D has a very strong level of closeness with yield per hectare on the component of the total number of content pods (0.993) and the component of the number of content pods two (0.988), the component of the total number of content pods two on the P2D genotype (0.811) total pods content of three on the P2R genotype (0.788).
