SUMMARY
Making a Promotional Video of The Potential Tourism Objects of Kemuning Lor of Jember, Dedy Hermala, Nim F31141160, Year 2018, 39 pages, English Study Program, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Cholimatus Zuhro, S.Pd., M.Li. (First Supervisor) and Fitri Wijayanti, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Second Supervisor).
Tourism is a travel activity utilizing natural resources and environment, such as; cultures, historical heritages, beautiful natural landscapes which have been managed by public, employers and local governments. Indonesia is a very rich country of tourism, One of the potential tourism in Indonesia is located in Java island, precisely in Jember. Jember offers beautiful and various tourism destinations, such as beaches, forests, mountains, cultures and histories. Yet, Jember there are also some tourist villages, one of them is Kemuning Lor village. This village make me interest to promote that place. In Kemuning Lor village there are 5 tourism object with has natural sceneries such as Rembangan, Garden of Politeknik Negeri Jember, Dragon fruit plantation, Dairy cattle and Antrokan waterfall. However, Kemuning Lor village has not supported yet by promotional media, like promotional video, booklet, guidebook, website. Therefore. I decided to make a promotional video of Kemuning Lor village as my final project, because promotional video will be more accurate and interesting for tourist. The video shows all sceneries in this village with explanation in each scenery. This video divided into three part they are opening, content, and closing. In the opening, I described about Jember and Kemuning Lor village in general. Content, I described about 5 tourism object in Kemuning Lor village. In the closing, I persuade the viewer to visit this village.
In doing this final project, I did the data collecting method they were interview, observation, documentation. In interview, I interviewed the staff of Jember Tourism Department and villager in Kemuning Lor village Jember. in observation, I observed spots, facilities, and activities in 5 tourism object at Kemuning Lor village. In the documentation. I got information about tourism Jember from magazine, booklet, and CD that Jember Tourism Department. Besides, there are adapted processes of making promotional video of Kemuning Lor village based on Folliard (2017), those are (1) Come up with a concept, (2) Write a script, (3) Perform, pre-production planning, (4) Shoot the video, (5) Take voice, (6) Edit the video, (7) Evaluate, (8) Code the video, (9) Promote the Video, (10) Distribute and optimize the video.

Developing tourism promotional video of Kemuning Lor entitled “The city of sky” takes so much time, hard works, patience, efforts, struggles and total dedications. In process of content making, I had to apply my English skills such as writing and speaking. Afterwards, to make a good video of promotional video, I decided to ask editor help and suggestions. Hopefully, this video may give much beneficial for tourists who want to visit Kemuning Lor village and it could be inspiration for Jember Tourism Department to make a specific promotional media for each tourism object in Jember.
