ABSTRACT
Smoking is a process of burning tobacco rolls and cigarettes contain nicotine which causes changes in triglyceride levels and nutritional status. Based on the 2013 Riskesdas data, the prevalence of obesity in men tends to increase from year to year ie 2007 (7,8%), 2010 (13,9%), 2013 (19,7%), while the prevalence of high triglyceride levels is 13% and very high 11,9% in 2013. The purpose of this study was to determine differences and relationship in triglyceride levels and nutritional status based on the level of smoking in active smokers. Smoking habits can be measured by determining the level of smoking that is using the Brinkman index with the old smoking method in a year multiplied by the number of cigarettes smoked every day and then categorized into light smokers 0-199 cigarettes / year, moderate smokers 200-599 cigarettes / year and heavy smoker > 600 cigarettes. This research uses analytic survey method with cross-sectional design. Total of subjects is 60 people. Sampling technique is quota sampling. Data analysis was using univariate analysis (frequency distribution) and bivariate analysis (Kruskal Wallis and Chi Square). The results of the analysis were that there were differences in triglyceride levels based on the level of smoking in active smokers (P = 0,01), there was a correlation between triglyceride levels and the level of smoking (light compared heavy) (P = 0,01) there were no significant differences and significant nutritional status based on level of smoking (P = 0,31). The conclusion is there are differences and the relationship between triglyceride levels based on the level of smoking in active smokers and there is no difference and the relationship of nutritional status based on the level of smoking in active smokers.

Kadar Trigliserida dan Status Gizi Berdasarkan Derajat Merokok Pada Perokok Aktif

ABSTRAK
Merokok merupakan proses pembakaran gulungan tembakau dan pada rokok terdapat kandungan nikotin yang menyebabkan perubahan kadar trigliserida dan status gizi. Berdasarkan data Riskesdas 2013 prevalensi obesitas pada laki-laki cenderung meningkat dari tahun ketahun yaitu 2007(7,8%), 2010(13,9%), 2013 (19,7%), sedangkan prevalensi kadar trigliserida tinggi 13% dan sangat tinggi 11,9% pada tahun 2013. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan dan hubungan kadar trigliserida dan status gizi berdasarkan derajat merokok pada perokok aktif. Kebiasaan merokok dapat diukur dengan menentukan derajat merokok yaitu menggunakan indeks Brinkman dengan cara lama merokok dalam tahun dikali dengan jumlah rokok yang dihisap setiap hari kemudian dikategorikan kedalam perokok derajat ringan 0-199 batang/tahun, perokok derajat sedang 200-599 batang/tahun dan perokok derajat berat >600 batang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Jumlah subjek yaitu 60 orang. Teknik pengambilan subjek yaitu quota sampling. Analisis data yaitu menggunakan analisis univariat (distribusi frekuensi) dan analisis bivariat (Kruskal Wallis dan Chi Square). Hasil analisis yaitu terdapat perbedaan kadar trigliserida berdasarkan derajat merokok (P= 0,01), terdapat hubungan kadar trigliserida dengan derajat merokok (ringan dibandingkan berat) (P= 0,01), dan tidak terdapat perbedaan dan hubungan yang signifikan status gizi berdasarkan derajat merokok (P= 0,31). Kesimpulan terdapat perbedaan dan hubungan kadar trigliserida berdasarkan derajat merokok pada perokok aktif dan tidak terdapat perbedaan dan hubungan status gizi berdasarkan derajat merokok pada perokok aktif.
