SUMMARY

Making a Promotional Video of Hidden Paradise in Lumbang District Probolinggo, Ria Putri Pratiwi, F31151379, 2018, 21 Pages, Language, Communication, and Tourism Deparment. Politeknik Negeri Jember, Yuslaili Ningsih,S.S.Pd,M.Pd,. (Supervisor).
Probolinggo is one of the city in East Java Province. This City is surrounded by Tengger Mountains and Argopuro Mountain. In this final project the writer explore more the tourism destination in Probolinggo especially in Lumbang District. Lumbang District is a sub-district that has beautiful tourism object. The writer would introduce the tourism places and cultures in Lumbang District. So, the writer decided to make a promotional video of Lumbang District.
In conducting this final project, the writer made a promotional video about tourism object in Madakaripura Waterfall, Madakaripura Forest Park, Duren Garden and Jaran Bodhag Festival to promote and explain this tourism objects in Probolinggo. The writer shoot activities in the tourism objects.
The video entittled “ The Wonderfull Hidden Paradise in Lumbang District” was presented in three parts that was opening, content and closing. In the first part, the writer explained about mount Bromo National Park, Bentar beach, culture ceremony carnival, competetion, tourism product. The writer showed the place that become icon of Probolinggo and Lumbang District about location, uniqueness, tourism attraction and tourist destination. The second part contained about the tourism object in Lumbang District included Madakaripura Waterfall, Madakaripura Forest Park, Duren Graden and Jaran Bodhag Festivall. The writer explained about tourism object location, the route of how to read to all the tourism object, culinary, and activities the travellers. The last is closing, after the writer showed the beauty place in Lumbang District and the tour activities tourism object.
The result of collecting data was applied in making video. First, the writer determined the target audience of this promotional video that was international and local people. Second, the writer made sure all the equipment completed before started shooting the video. Third, the writer edited the video helped by programmer to make this video more interesting. The last, the writer would burn this video to CD to make easier in the distrubuting process.
In conducting this final project, The writer found a problem when making script of the video. The writer needed to learn about how to write good script of promotional video. Also, the writer gave some suggestion for Tourism and Culture Department and Politeknik Negeri Jember, the writer suggest Tourism and Culture Department add the media of promotion especially promotional video to promote tourism object. And for Politeknik Negeri Jember especially in English Department to give additional matery about editing video.
