ABSTRAK Pada SMK 17 Agustus Genteng pemanfaatan teknologi Informasi saat ini kurang optimal dalam hal pemantauan kemampuan siswa secara keseluruhan. Sistem yang berjalan saat ini hanya berjalan secara manual dan hanyalah pembukuan nilai biasa dalam bentuk buku, tanpa adanya sistem yang dapat melihat nilai secara real time, everywhere and anywhere. Pada penyusunan sistem ini dapat dilakukan pengolahan data agar lebih efektif dan efisien. Batasan-batasan kemampuan dari komputer maupun pengguna (user) yang membatasi dari komputer ini adalah kontrol yang merupakan elemen dari sistem komputer yang bertugas mengawasi segala tugas-tugas yang dapat dilakukan, seperti verifikasi data, pesan kesalahan. Untuk dapat menyelesaikan masalah diatas maka diperlukan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat membangun atau menciptakan sebuah program yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan, aplikasi yang dimaksud adalah Bahasa pemrograman PHP 5.0. Di dalam aplikasi ini, pembuatan database menggunakan SQL Server 2000.Database digunakan untuk penyimpanan data. Sehingga aplikasi PHP telah dirasakan cukup untuk membuat sistem komputerisasi pengolahan nilai siswa di SMK 17 Agustus 1945 Genteng Berbasis Web. Informasi yang diperoleh dari program ini bertujuan agar dapat memantau perkembangan nilai siswa, sehingga dapat membantu sekolah untuk dapat menentukan kebijakan yang akan diambil guna menambah kemajuan dari sekolah itu.
