SUMMARY
Making A Promotional Video of Ijen batik Bondowoso, Inayatul Kharimah, F31150515, 2018, 35 pages, English Study Program, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Alfi Hidayatu Miqawati, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Supervisor).
This is the report of the final project entitled “Making a Promotional Video of Ijen batik Bondowoso”. The project was made because of Ijen batik is a new home industry in Bondowoso, then they needed promotional media in the form of a promotional video. In addition, they had difficulties in making the video and by using a promotional video, every people could know detail information about Ijen Batik.
In making this final project, the writer needed supporting data to complete this final project and the writer did interview, observation, documentation, and audiovisual material. The promotional video was presented in three parts; opening, content and closing. In opening, the writer started by showing the icons of Bondowoso, Gerbong Maut Monument and the detail location of Ijen Batik by showing a zoomed picture from Google Map. In content, the writer explained and showed the history and physical condition of Ijen batik, batik collection, the motifs that Ijen batik has, and the process of making batik. In closing, the writer explained media of promotion that they use to sell their product and the testimony from customer of Ijen Batik. After that, the writer gave the contact information of Ijen batik and gave salutation to the parties concerned in the video making.
In finishing this video, the writer found many difficulties and challenges. The writer found a problem when making script of the video. The writer needed to learn about how to write good script of promotional video. Beside some problems in making the promotional video, the writer also got some advantages like she improved her speaking skill especially in pronouncing the word or sentences
