ABSTRACT


Automotive during work made some exhaust emission. From their factory was made an innovation to control emission, that called Air Induction System. This system can reduce exhaust emission. The aim of this reserch is to designing a Fiber Air Induction System (AIS) that can reduce exhaust emission gasses. Change in the value of exhaust emission gasses will be the main issue that the research will do. Experimental method will be use during this research. The research will be be place at State Polytechnic of Jember during 6th June 2016 – 21stSeptember 2018. The experiment will be focus on exhaust gasses pecentage (CO 1.12 %,, CO2 3.0 %, HC 45 ppm, O2 14.0 %, dan NOx 0) for futhermore calculate the percentage of change in emission amount value. The result show that Fiber AIS is more capable than Standard AIS to reduce exhaust gas emissions from 2.000 – 3.500 rpm.
