Abstract
Batang bawah orange juice can be diet for reduction of uric acid degree theraphy because it contains of high vitamin C. The uric acid is the last result of metabolism from urine. The purpose of this research was to know the effect of batang bawah orange juice consumption (Japansche citroen) toward uric acid degree of hyperuricemia in UPT Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werdha Jember. This research is Quasy-Experimental research which used Pre-test post-test control group design. Data analysis in this study used Shapiro wilk normality test, then wilcoxon and mann-whitney test. The total of the subject were 30 people, 15 subjects for control group and 15 subjects for treatment group. Batang bawah orange juice which is drink as much as 1395 ml in a day and given 3 times, so once teh giving is 470 ml of batang bawah orange juice for 14 days. The conclussion showed any effect on batang bawah orange juice consumption toward uric acid degree on hyperurisemia proven there was differences between control and treatment group of P value men = 0,000, P value women = 0,004.

Efek Konsumsi Jus Jeruk Batang Bawah (Japansche Citroen) Terhadap Kadar Asam Urat Penderita Hiperurisemia Di UPT Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werdha Jember

ABSTRAK
Jus jeruk batang bawah dapat dijadikan diet untuk membantu terapi penurunan kadar asam urat karena mengandung tinggi vitamin C. Asam urat merupakan hasil akhir metabolisme dari purin. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efek konsumsi jus jeruk batang bawah (Japansche citroen) terhadap kadar asam urat penderita hiperurisemia di UPT Pelayanan Sosial Tresna Werdha Jember. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasy-Experimental dengan pendekatan Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro Wilk kemudian menggunakan uji wilcoxon dan mann-whitney. Total subyek penelitian 30 orang, dengan 15 subyek pada kelompok kontrol dan 15 subyek pada kelompok perlakuan. Jus jeruk batang bawah yang diminum yaitu sebanyak 1395 ml dalam sehari, diberikan sebanyak 3 kali pemberian, jadi sekali pemberian adalah 470 ml jus jeruk batang bawah selama 14 hari. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan ada efek konsumsi jus jeruk batang bawah terhadap kadar asam urat penderita hiperurisemia yang terbukti dengan adanya perbedaan selisih kadar asam urat antar kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan yaitu pada laki-laki P value = 0,000, dan pada perempuan P value = 0,004.
