Making a Company Profile Video in Tatsaka Batik in Simbar Village Banyuwangi Galuh Putri Utami, F31151307, 2018, 48 pages, Language, Communication and Tourism Department, Politeknik Negeri Jember, Enik Rukiati S.Pd. M.Pd, as the Supervisor of this final project.
Batik is the biggest culture heritage in Indonesia. The beauty of batik already known all around the world. One of home industry that produced batik in Banyuwangi is Tatsaka. Tatsaka Batik is one of the batik production in the Simbar village, the district of Cluring, Banyuwangi that was built since 2010. Tatsaka Batik is a medium industry that is going to be an international home industry in the future. To achieve the purpose,Tatsaka needs a promotianal media to support their business and one of them from video. So, the writer decided to make a company profile video to promote Tatsaka in whole country.
Video company profile is a form of company profile in multimedia - based because it is a combination of moving images, photos, text, graphics to the background sound that presented in an interesting way. In general, the company profile video is a short duration. Therefore, it should be carefully thought the concept and what content will be included if you want to create a video company profile.
The title of the video is Pusaka Tatsaka. The duration of this video around 7 minutes. The video uses English and Indonesian language. This video contains information about Tatsaka batik. The video devides into three parts they are opening, body and closing. In the opening, the writer gives greeting about Indonesian culture. In the body, the writer explains the vission and mission and the history of Tatsaka. the writer also shows the kinds of batik, type of motifs and the process of making batik. For closing, the video contains about the marketing strategy in the Tatsaka Batik. In making the product of the this final project, the writer used three kinds of data collecting methods to complete the data. Those were interview, observations and audio visual material. Then, the writer used three kinds of procedures to make this video. Those were preproduction, production and post production. After finishing the product, the writer uploaded the video on youtube channel. Hopefully, this video is usefull for some parties. This video can be used as media promotion for Tatsaka Batik to make Tatsaka Batik more known in other countries and it also can be used as inspiration to the English Study Program especially in Politeknik Negeri Jember to make a similar product as their Final Project.
