This final project entitled “Designing A Booklet for Pyramid Tour and Travel Jember”. The purpose of this final project could be used as a promotional media for Pyramid tour and travel to attract more customer to use their services. Although, Pyramid Tour and Travel has promotional media such as webside, brochure and social media (WhatsApp, Facebook, BBM). All the previous promotional media were Indonesian version. But there were some foreigners come to Pyramid Tour and Travel. So they need promotional media in English version. Therefore, Pyramid Tour and Travel need other promotional media that can easy to bring for the customer such as booklet. In conducting this final project, the writer adopted the steps of making booklet from Aprilia (2009), those are: (1) Deciding Idea (2) Focusing on the Idea (3) Outlining Booklet (4) Writing Booklet (5) Reviewing the Booklet (6) Improving the writing (7) Revising (8) Editing (9) Arranging the Layout (10) Producing the Booklet. To design this booklet the writer help by the editor. The editor was designing the booklet by using CorelDraw. The booklet entitled “Amazing Tour with Pyramid Tour and Travel”. This booklet contains about the general information of Pyramid Tour and Travel and the products offered. The first section was overview of Pyramid Tour and Travel such as foreword and the history of Pyramid Tour and Travel. The second section was the services of Pyramid Tour and Travel such as flight ticketing, rent car, tour packages for domestic and International, event organizer, and travel consultant. The third section was about tour packages in Pyramid Tour and Travel. The fourth section was about the management of Pyramid Tour and Travel such as the name of the staff, contact person and organizational structure in Pyramid Tour and Travel. And the last section was about photo of documentation of the customers Pyramid Tour and Travel.
This booklet was made in bilingual language, Bahasa Indonesian and English version. The size of the booklet was 14,8 centimeters x 21 centimeters by using CorelDraw. The writer adopted step from Aprilia (2009) for procedure designing the booklet. Those are deciding idea, focusing on the idea, outlining booklet, writing booklet, reviewing the writing, improving the writing, revising, editing, arranging layout and producing the booklet. In finishing this final project, the writer took so much time, hard work, patience, efforts and total dedications. First, the writer had to find the travel agent that appropriate to use the object of final project. From many travel agent, the writer determined Pyramid Tour and Travel as the object of final project. Pyramid Tour and Travel need other promotional media that easy to bring for the customer. Therefore, the writer offer to make booklet. Secondly, the writer had to maintain good communication and interaction with the owner of Pyramid Tour and Travel for permission of designing this product from collecting data and finishing the product. During finishing this final project, the writer had experienced deals with some obstacles. However, it made the writer got more spirit to finish the booklet. Hopefully, this booklet are give beneficial for Pyramid Tour and Travel and also the customers of Pyramid Tour and Travel
