SUMMARY
Making a Promotional Video of Meru Betiri National Park, Anggi Pramudya Damaryanti, F31151302, 2018, 29 Pages, Language, Communication, and Tourism Deparment. Politeknik Negeri Jember, Nila Susanti,S.S.,M.Pd,. (Supervisor).
Meru Betiri National Park which is located in two region that is Jember and Banyuwangi. This national park that covers flora and fauna who lived there. Actually Meru Betiri National Park divided into six zone include core zone, jungle zone, utilization zone, traditional zone, and special zone. A lot of people do not know when utilization zone have a beautiful tourism object such as Nanggelan Beach, Bandealit Beach, Rajegwesi Beach, Green Bay, and Sukamade Beach. Unfortunately, this national park only has booklet and offcial website as its promotional media. However, this promotional media is not effective enough to promote the tourism object. Therefore, the writer decide to make a promotional video as new prmotional media for Meru Betiri National Park.
In conducting this final project, the writer made a promotional video about tourism object in Meru Betiri National Park include Nanggelan Beach, Bandealit Beach, Rajegwesi Beach, Green Bay, and Sukamade Beach in order to promote and represents this tourism object clearly. Video is important media to explain more about something that can make the audiences interest and able to acces by everyone and efficient to deliver a message. By using video, it can show overview all of activities and situation of the tourism object in Meru Betiri National Park.
The video entittled “The Exotic Nature of Meru Betiri National Park” was presented in three parts that is opening, content, and closing. In the opening that explains about Meru Betiri National Park in briefly. The second part, it contains about the tourism objects in Meru Betiri National. And the last part, after showed the beauty that found the writer attract travellers to come in that tourism objects. In making the video, the writer adapted procedures proposed by Folliard (2017) that are coming up with a concept, writing script, performed, pre-production, shooting the video, editing the video, evaluation, optimize the video, code the video, promote the video. Besides that, the writer did collecting data by interview,

observation, documentation, and audio visual material to complete data needed related to the video and report.
The result of collecting data was applied in making the video. First, the writer determined the target audience based on the result of interview. Second, the writer arranged planning based on observation result. The write also made storyboard and script in process of making video based on documentation result. Then, the writer conducted shooting process and checked equipment needed before conducting shooting. Third, the writer edited the video based on the result of audio visual material such as give addtional backsound, transition, and voice of the writer. The last, the writer burned the video to CD-RW then gave it to Meru Betiri National Park. All of those process helped by the cameramen and editor.
In conducting this final project, the writer felt challenged when shooting in different tourism
