Maratus Sa’adah Study Program of Seed Production Technique Majoring of Agricultural Production Program Studi Teknik Produksi Benih Jurusan Produksi Pertanian ABSTRACT The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of paclobutrazol to the production and seed quality of two peanut varieties. This research was conducted in Cangkring Village, Patrang Sub-District, Jember Regency from August to December 2017. The study design was a 2 factor randomized design, namely paclobutrazol concentration (200, 225, 250, and 275 ppm) and peanut varieties (Rabbit and Mouse Deer). The results showed that the concentration of paclobutrazol had a significant effect (**) on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, number of potted pods per plant sample, number of empty pods per plant sample, weight of dried pods per plant sample, weight of 100 seed grains, production dried pods per hectare. The treatment of varieties has a very significant effect (*) to very significant parameters of flowering age, weight of dried pods per plant sample, weight of 100 seed grains, production of dried pods per hectare, seed germination, seedling growth (KsT), seed growth rate (KcT). There is no interaction between the two treatments for all observational parameters. Keywords :Paclobutrazol, Peanuts Varieties
