SUMMARY
Making a Company Profile Video of Aura Tour and Travel of SMK NEGERI 3

Vocational high school is secondary education which priorities the
development of students ability to the next step for work. One of vocational high
school can educate students to have ability and skill is SMK NEGERI 3 Jember.
SMK NEGERI 3 Jember has many departments, one of them is Tourism department.
Tourism department is the knowledge about planning on tourism or tour packages
including the accommodation, tourism destinations and the services. Tourism
department have two places for doing practicum are hotel and tour and travel, for the
tour and travel named is Aura Tour and Travel. Aura Tour and Travel used website
and brochure as a promotional media. So, the writer decided to make a company
profile video as a promotional media. It can help Aura Tour and Travel promote their
business.
In this final project, the writer made company profile video as a promotional
media. The video contains complete information and services about Aura Tour and
Travel. The content of this video are showing a tourism destinations and tour package
for the customer. The video also supported with Bahasa Indonesia subtitle.
The first part of this video is opening, it will show Aura Tour and Travel
office. The second is content, it will show tour package and tourism destination
include facilities, accommodation and services. The last part is closing, it will show
the information of address or phone number Aura Tour and Travel. To make a
company profile video, the writer needs supporting data to complete the final project.
The supporting data are interview, observation, and documentation related on Aura
Tour and Travel and the writer’s product.

Then, for the procedures of making a company profile video, the writer adopted 3
steps from Tradana (2013). The steps are pre-production, production and postproduction.
And also the writer add two steps to make the result of the video better,
they are evaluation and producing the product.
After the supporting data and planning the process the product was completed,
the writer started made the product based on the method. The first step in making the
product is writing the script based on the collecting data. Then, creating the
storyboard for guiding the cameraman. Next, the writer prepared the equipment and
place for shooting. After everything was ready, the cameramen started to shoot the
video. The next step is editing, the writer need an editor for editing the video. After
that, the writer will revise the video based on the feedback from member of Aura
Tour and Travel and supervisor, and also the writer burned the video from the laptop
to the CD-ROOM.
Finally, the writer could finish this project. The writer hope could help Aura
Tour and Travel to share complete information about this travel and increase the
income marketing of Aura Tour and Travel.
