The internship program had been conducted for three months in Royal Hotel N’ Lounge Jember. It was started from 1st March up to 31st May 2018. In conducting this program, I was placed in Food and Beverage (F&B) Service Department. In this department, I was given a chance to be a waiter at Ruby’s Restaurant. Here, I learned many things that I did not get in college. I also knew what the roles of being a waiter. The activities that I had done during had roles as waiter were being a greeter, taking order, being a runner, preparing buffet for breakfast, helping the banquet, staff for setting event, and arranging the menu set.
Having finished the job training in Royal Hotel N’ Lounge Jember, I got new knowledge and experiences about hospitality and workplace behavior before entering the hotel. Furthermore, it will help me to adapt with the real workplace later.
