ABSTRACT

The administration system at Labruk Kidul Health Center is still doing manual recording. Registration officers enter patient data in the register book. The register book is not effective for storing patient data, because the register book can be damaged, and writing can fade when exposed to rain or officer errors. In addition, in searching for patient data for a long time visit, the officer must search one by one the name of the patient in the thick register book. So that it cause human error in the process of searching patient data. This results in longer waiting times for patients. On average as many as 40% of patients do not carry a Medication Index Card (MNH) when they want to seek treatment every day.
In addition, in making monthly reports, officers record the data one by one to be made into monthly reports. The purpose of this research is to design and make an outpatient service information system with fingerprint. The method in this study is waterfall by using Microsoft Visual Studio 10 programming language. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation, documentation and brainstorming. The results of this study are outpatient service information systems based fingerprint that can facilitate registration and inspection officers in carrying out their tasks easily and quickly.
