ABSTRACT

Medical record files controlling is a supervision or control of medical record files both in borrowing medical record files from storages racks and returning medical record files to storage racks. Medical record files controlling in Primary Health Center of Pasirian is poor because they don’t use the tracer and also borrowing registration book and expedition book are not used optimally. As many as 7 files from 80 files borrowed were misplaced due to officers returning files from the time they returned home and making services provided to patients at the Pasirian Health Center was late. The aims of this research is to analyze medical record files controlling in Primary Health Center of PasirianLumajang. This research uses qualitative method and collecting data is conducted by doing interview, observation, and USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) discussion. Interviews were conducted with 5 registrants and storage officers. The result obtained from medical record files controlling priority problem is the less suitable educational qualification of the officer in charge. The alternative improvement plan is by doing in training by inviting an interviewee to Primary Health Center or by attending seminar so that it can increase the knowledge of the officer in charge about medical record resulting in a good ability of medical record files controlling by the officer in charge.
