ABSTRACT


Potato is one of horticultural commodities in Indonesia. In every year, the potato production from 2011 - 2015 is unstable. One of techniques to increase potato production is by improving cultivation technique and appropriate fertilizer treatment. This research was conducted on September to December 2017 in Jampit village, Sempol, Bondowoso which is located on 1.050 meter from the sea level. This research used Factorial Group Randomized Design which consist of two factors. The first factor is coffee skin, consisting of three levels: 105 gr/tan, 210 gr/tan,and 315 gr/tan. The second factor is NPK fertilizer which consist of 12, 6 gr/tan, 14, 7 gr/tan, and 16, 8 gr/tan. The result of the research showed that coffee skin compost and NPK fertilizer treatment significant affect (*) on leaves parameter number, resulting the highest leave number 64, 46 sheets. Meanwhile, plant high parameter results the highest plant parameter about 36, 01cm/tan, stem number results the highest stem number about 1, 33, bulb number results the highest bulb number about 33,33umbi/tan, bulb quality results the highest bulb quality about 1637, 14 gram/tan. There is not significant different interaction between coffee skin compost and NPK fertilizer treatment on seed production/hectare. The combination between coffee skin compost and NPK fertilizer (K3NI) results the highest seed production. That is 12,11ton/hectare.
