ABSTRACT
Research on the Application of Phosphorus and Potassium Fertilizers on Growth and Production of Sorghum (Sorgum bicolor L.) Kawali Varieties to determine the best concentration of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers on the growth and production of sorghum (Sorgum bicolor L.) varieties of kawali. This study was conducted for 4 months, starting from September 2017 to January 2018, located in the village of Bedadung Village, Pakusari District, Jember Regency. This final project was carried out using factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 treatment factors with 2 replications. The first factor is the face ratio of phosphorus fertilizer which consists of 4 levels without phosphorus fertilizer (P0), phosphorus fertilizer dosage of 25 kg / ha (P1), dosage of phosphorus fertilizer 30 kg / ha (P2), dosage of phosphorus fertilizer 35 kg / ha (P3). The second factor is potassium fertilizer which consists of 4 levels without potassium fertilizer (K0), fertilizer potassium dose 100 kg / ha (K1), fertilizer dose of potassium 150 kg / ha (K2), fertilizer dose of potassium 200 kg / ha K3). Observations were made on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, wet seed weight per sample, wet weight per plot, dry seed weight per sample, dry seed weight per plot, weight of wet stover, and dry weight of stover. The results showed that there were no significant (non-significant) parameters for all, so it can be concluded that phosphorus and potassium fertilizers did not affect the growth and production of sorghum (Sorgum bicolor L.) varieties of kawali.
