The Influence of Counseling on MP-ASI, on the Intake of Macro Nutrition, Fe Intake and Toddler Nutritional Status (Study in Grajagan Village, Purwoharjo District, Banyuwangi Regency) Bella Dwi Magdania Clinical Nutrition Study Program Department of Health ABSTRACT Malnourished infants can be caused by one of the indirect factors, namely MP-ASI counseling. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing MP-ASI counseling on macro-nutrient intake, Fe intake and nutritional status of children conducting research studies in Grajagan Village, Purwoharjo District, Banyuwangi Regency. This type of research is pre-experiment. The population is all mothers who have toddlers aged 6-24 months in the working area of the Grajagan Community Health Center in Banyuwangi Regency, which is 295 people. The subjects in this study were 20 people, the sampling technique used was Cluster Sampling. Methods of data collection form Pretest-Postes, form Recall, weighing scales with an accuracy of 0.1 kg, and leaflets. Using the Wilcoxon test used using the SPSS 16.0 program with a significance level of p <0.05. There is an influence of counseling about MP-ASI on protein intake (p = 0.03) and there is no effect of counseling on MP-ASI on energy intake (p = 0.08), fat (p = 1.57), and KH (p = 0.09) nutritional status of toddlers A study in the village of Grajagan, Purwoharjo Subdistrict, Banyuwangi Regency, there was an effect of counseling on MP-ASI on the intake of nutritional status of children under five years of study in the village of Grajagan, Purwoharjo District, Banyuwangi District with (p = 0.03) and no influence counseling on MP-ASI on the nutritional status of children under five years of study in the village of Grajagan, Purwoharjo Subdistrict, Banyuwangi Regency with (p = 1.57).
