(The Development of Hospital Website Balung Jember as Health Promotion Media to The Society) Lizza Nofvia Ningsih Study Program Medical Record Health Departemen ABSTRACT Balung regional hospital is a class C hospital to Jember district government, located in Jember district in the south west. Based on preliminary result of information delivery of health service Balung hospital has not been optimal, evidenced by the data visit in 2014-2015 has decreased. In addition, health promotion campaigns or extension programs only run using marketing media such as banners, pamphlets, or banners, but for website media still does not exist. While based on data of the top 10 diseases in 2014-2016 there are some cases that have increased. The purpose of this research is to design and make Balung hospital website as health promotion media which include promotion service and public health promotion. This type of research id qualitative research. The data collection uses interview and observation techniques. The result of this research is a hospital website Balung Jember with online consultation feature and health promotion menu. By the existence of the website can help Balung hospital provide information, organize health promotion activities and improve the exixting service to hospital customers supported by information technology suggestions for further researchers are expected to add availability of integrated with SIMRS.
