ABSTRACT
Spodoptera litura is one of the main pests in soybean which causes leaves to be perforated. As the result, it reduces the quality product also. The use of chemical pesticides in the control of plant pests can cause harmful residual effects, so to reduce these negative impacts, biological protection of plants is needed as an integrated pets management effort. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of P0 to P5 on the intensity of the attack of Spodoptera litura and soybean crop production. Also, the correlation between the intensity of attack on Spodoptera litura and the soybean crop production. This research was conducted for 4 months, from November 2017 to February 2018 on agricultural land in Antirogo Village, Sumbersari District, Jember Regency. This study used a non factorial completely randomized design method with 6 treatments and 4 replications, consisting of synthetic insecticides (P0) with prefenofos active ingredients, (P1) entomopathogenic nematodes heterorhabditis sp, (P2) starfruit leaf extract concentration 80%, (P3) starfruit leaf extract concentration 90%, (P4) combination of entomopathogenic nematodes heterorhabditis sp + starfruit leaf extract concentration 80%, and (P5) combination of entomopathogenic nematode heterorhabditis sp + starfruit leaf extract concentration 90%. The results showed that treatment of P0 to P5 gives non-significant effect against intensity of attack on Spodoptera litura and the soybean crop production. Also, the correlation of intensity of attack on spodoptera litura with the number of total pods per sample is negative (Y = -6.4714 x, R2 = 0.1132) and the correlation of intensity of attack on spodoptera litura with total pod weight per sample is negative (Y = -0.459 x, R2 = 0.0091)
