ABSTRACT

Balanced fertilization application on two varieties of tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill) to increase production and seeds viability. Under the guidance of Ir. Titien Suhermiatin, MP and Dwi Rahmawati, SP., MP. Experiments conducted in January 2014 to May 2014 to see the effect of the application of balanced fertilization on increasing production and seed viability of two varieties of tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill). Two varieties level (Kingkong and TO 052) and 3 levels of balanced fertilization application (Urea 75 kg / ha, SP-36 150 kg / ha, KCL 150 kg / ha), Urea 100 kg / ha, SP-36 200 kg / ha, KCL 200 kg / ha and 150 kg urea / ha, SP-36 225 kg / ha, KCL 225 kg / ha. The study was conducted using a completely randomized factorial design. Application of balanced fertilization does not significantly to all observated parameters. Tomato varieties TO 052 were the most productive according to the age of harvested, number of fruits producted per plant, weight of fruit per plant, weight of 100 seeds and seed quality. Kingkong varieties give an significantly effect on plant height.
